Bollywood has given us a lot to cherish and celebrate, but it has also given us things that cliched and we are tired of seeing them. Here is my list of some of the things I am tired of seeing in Bollywood movies.
Objectifying only women in the name of Item Numbers:
Yes women have curves and breasts and a body that men like drool over, but lets not magnify and show them as objects used only to satisfy lust and physical need. Even if that is the requirement, then I demand for some equally raunchy item numbers by men. Why should boys have all the fun.
Old wine in a new bottle:
These days the plot line is thinner than those anorexic models waist that we get to see on fashion weeks. Time for directors to work on their story rather than on the abs of the lead actor.
The starkids:
"Papa/Mamma mujhe hero/heroine banna hain", said every star kid once in a while. And their famous papa granted them the wish. As grateful I am to the industry for Ranbir Kapoor, I am disgusted on Sooraj Pancholi being chosen over Vicky Kaushal (of Massan fame).

"The Handsome guy gets all" story:
The common man doesn't look like Hrithik Roshan, the common does not have 6 pack abs, the common man does not get the hottest girl in the college. People like actors like Dhanush and Nawazuddin Siddiqui because, they can connect with them. Once in a while we would like to see the average guy win.
Non - existent gravitational force:
I hate science but not as much as to completely deny that it exits, our Bollywood directors have done that though. They have defied the gravitational force as "creative freedom" and have kept a car in air for a min. SO MUCH WOW.
Good Sex Comedies:
I am up for sex comedies any day, but I will not be shelling out 300 bucks of my hard earned money for lame adult jokes strung together in the name of dialogues with visual graphics added for "fun".
